Micros 2700 Tech Tips
1. Problem: The system displays a failure to communicate message on one of your System Units, or reports are coming up incorrect as a result of a Terminal not communicating.
Solution: This is a common problem that can generally be fixed quickly by doing a few simple procedures. Please contact us for further details.
2. Problem: The display screen is doubled.
Solution: This problem can be resolved by completing a display reset. Please contact us for further details.
3. Problem: A Remote Printer is not printing orders and a Terminal displays a "No Response from Controller" message.
Solution: The Communication Interface Board (CIB) is locked up and needs to be reset. Please contact us for further details.
4. Problem: A Stand Alone Roll printer is beeping as if it is low on paper or the door is open, however neither is the case.
Solution: The Printer door switch is probably bent and therefore needs to be straightened into position. Please contact us for further details.
5. Problem: When attempting to punch in, a message displays Time Clock Detail Full.
Solution: Timekeeping needs to be reset and your Auto Sequence needs to be changed so that it resets on a regular basis.
Micros 8700 Tech Tips
1. Problem: A '8700 UWS' has contrast up or down displaying on the screen and will not function.
Solution: The solution may be as simple as resetting the Terminal and then bringing the Terminal down and up via the control panel. Please contact us for further details.
2. Problem: The touch is off on a 8700 UWS3.
Solution: The Terminal can be calibrated through Micros® confidence test. Please contact us for further details.
3. Problem: The 8700 Hard Check Printer is jammed.
